AmzMonitor Guide for Amazon Sellers

Below, find easy, quick steps to use AmzMonitor services.

Seller Monitoring — Monitored Fields

For every product that falls within a seller's tracking scope (see How Seller Monitoring Works), AmzMonitor records the fields below on every daily scan. Any change to any of these fields is what drives the alerts described in Alerts & Notifications.

Price

The current listing price of the product, excluding shipping. A price change on any tracked product is one of the most common alert types you'll see.

Shipping Price

The shipping cost charged separately from the item price, when applicable. Combined with Price, this gives you the true landed cost of a product.

Stock

Whether the product is in stock, and the stock count when Amazon exposes it. A product going out of stock is a strong signal — it can mean a supply gap you could take advantage of.

FBA

Whether the product is Fulfilled by Amazon. A switch between FBA and FBM tells you a lot about how a seller is running their logistics — and can hint at margin or fee pressure.

Prime

Whether the product currently carries Prime eligibility.

Free Shipping

Whether the product ships for free, independent of Prime eligibility.

Best Seller Badge

Whether the product currently displays Amazon's Best Seller badge in its category.

Amazon's Choice Badge

Whether the product currently carries the Amazon's Choice badge for its search term.

Coupon

The text of any active on-page coupon (for example, a percentage or fixed-amount discount). A new coupon appearing is often the first sign of a pricing push.

Deal / Badge Text

Any promotional badge text Amazon displays on the listing, such as a limited-time deal callout.

Title

The product's listing title. AmzMonitor highlights exactly what changed, word for word, when a title is edited.

Reviews Rating & Count

The product's star rating and total number of reviews at the time of the scan.

Bought in Past Month

Amazon's "X+ bought in past month" social-proof signal, when shown on the listing.

Storefront Position

Where the product currently ranks within the seller's promoted lineup for the chosen tracking scope (Best Sellers, Newest Arrivals, Best Rated, or All Products).
