Adding a Seller
Click Add Seller to open the setup popup, then enter the seller's Merchant ID or storefront URL, their Marketplace, and optionally one or more Brand filters if you only want to track a subset of their catalog.
Click Check Products next. AmzMonitor looks up the seller and tells you roughly how many products they have:
- If they're within the 1,500-product limit, you're good to go as is — or narrow it further with a brand filter.
- If they exceed 1,500 products, AmzMonitor flags it and asks you to narrow the scope with a brand filter, or choose one of the Top 300 tracking options below instead.
Once the check completes, the rest of the form appears. Fill in:
- Friendly Name — an optional label to help you identify this seller.
- Seller Monitoring Type — what to track: Top 300 Best Sellers, Top 300 Newest Arrivals, Top 300 Best Rated, or All Products. See How Seller Monitoring Works for what each option means.
- Send Notification Emails — toggle daily alert emails on or off for this seller.
- Notification Group — choose which group receives alerts for this seller, when notifications are on.
Once everything looks good, save the seller to add them to your monitoring list.
Editing a Seller
Click the edit icon in a seller's action buttons within the Seller Summary Table to open the edit popup, where you can update the seller's name, brand filter, tracking type, and notification group. The Merchant ID and Marketplace can't be changed after a seller is added — changing either would effectively be a different seller, so add it as a new entry instead.
To update multiple sellers at once, check the boxes on the left side of the seller list, then use the Delete or Notifications On/Off buttons that appear at the top of the list.
Deleting a Seller
Click the delete icon in a seller's action buttons to stop tracking them. This removes the seller and all associated monitoring data.
