AmzMonitor Guide for Amazon Sellers

Below, find easy, quick steps to use AmzMonitor services. Still, have questions? Check out FAQ!

Merchant Info

Your Merchant information allows AmzMonitor to generate accurate Buy Box alerts, reports, and analytics. While monitoring your products, AmzMonitor continuously tracks who holds the Buy Box. By adding your Merchant details, you can receive notifications whenever your merchant wins or loses the Buy Box. Once your Merchant information is added, no additional setup is needed. AmzMonitor automatically uses this data to generate alerts, statistics, and insights.

You will also gain access to visual insights, including the percentage of your products currently holding the Buy Box, as well as charts and tables showing Buy Box ownership changes across your listings. AmzMonitor uses your Merchant information to calculate and display these insights. If you add multiple merchants, all of them will be evaluated, and any Buy Box wins by your added merchants will be reflected in your analytics and notifications.

If the merchant you are adding is also an Amazon 1P seller (Vendor), you can indicate this during setup. In this case, Buy Box wins by Amazon will also be counted as wins.

This guide explains how to add and manage your Merchant information

Add New Merchant Info

add the Merchant ID and select the marketplace
  • When you select the Vendor checkbox in Merchant Info and click Save, a new popup window will appear. This popup allows you to automatically convert all existing products under this merchant into Vendor products. If you prefer, you can skip this step and manually set specific products as Vendor items later.

add the Merchant ID and select the marketplace

💡 Marking a seller as a Vendor means that this seller both sells products on Amazon as a regular merchant and also supplies products directly to Amazon as a Vendor (1P).In this scenario, AmzMonitor treats Amazon’s Buy Box wins as wins for your merchant. Statistics and alerts will include both cases. You will receive notifications when either Amazon or your merchant wins or loses the Buy Box.

Manage Merchant Info

You can modify(update/delete) Merchant Info anytime to adapt your alert strategy.

  • Open Settings and go to the Merchant Info tab to view your all existing merchant informations are listed. Use the edit (pen) icon to update a merchant or the delete (trash) icon to remove it.
    Remove Setting

⚠️ If you previously marked a merchant as a Vendor and converted your products to Vendor items, deleting that merchant will not change the Vendor status of those products. The products will remain marked as Vendor products. If your products are no longer Vendor items, you will need to update the product settings separately.
