Notification Groups


Notification Groups allow you to control who receives alert emails in AmzMonitor by organizing recipients into groups. You can create a group with a single email address or include multiple recipients, depending on your needs. Once a Notification Group is created, you can assign it to any monitor, and all alerts generated by that monitor will be sent automatically to the selected group. Notification Groups can be linked to Product, Keyword, and Seller monitoring, making it easy to manage notifications across different workflows and teams while ensuring the right people receive the right alerts at the right time. In this section, you’ll learn how to creating and manage notification groups and how to assign them to your product monitoring.

Product Notification Triggers define which changes generate email notifications. Combined with Notification Groups, they give you more granular control over how product alerts are configured, managed, and delivered to the right recipients.

Create Notification Group

Create notification groups based on roles, responsibilities, or workflows. For example, you might send pricing alerts to your sales team while listing change notifications go to your content or operations team.

  • Go to Settings from your AmzMonitor dashboard and open the Notificaiton Group tab. Click Add Email Group to create a new group.

  • A popup window will display your existing notification email addresses. If you need to add or update email addresses first, follow the instructions on the Alert Settings How-To page (Step 7). Select the email addresses you want to include, give your group a name, and click Save.

⚠️You can create notification groups only from the addresses already defined in the Notification Delivery settings. These saved email addresses will appear in the group creation popup, where you can select them using the radio options to build your group.

Manage Notification Group

You can modify(update/delete) Notification Group anytime to adapt your alert strategy.

  • Open Settings from your AmzMonitor dashboard and navigate to the notification Groups tab, where all existing groups are listed. Use the edit (pen) icon to update a group or the delete (trash) icon to remove it.

    ⚠️ An notification group cannot be deleted if it is currently assigned to a product monitoring. To remove it, first update the related monitoring and unassign the group, then you can delete it.

Binding Notification Group To Product Monitoring

You can bind notification group to product monitoring in two ways: individually (single) or in bulk.

  • Individually: To bind a notification group to a monitor, select your preferred gorup from the group dropdown in the popup that appears when adding or updating product monitoring. The notification groups you create will be available in this dropdown, allowing you to choose exactly which group should get notifications for that specific product monitor.You can learn how to add a single product by following the guide available here.

  • Bulk: If you want to update notification groups for multiple products at once, you’ll need to use bulk editing instead. To manage monitoring in bulk, see add bulk product for detailed instructions. Download your bulk edit Excel file as described there and assign the desired notification group for each product monitoring directly in the sheet.

    ⚠️ Make sure the notification group name you enter matches exactly with the name saved in your system; otherwise, bulk import will fail.
